On August 31, along with a photo, she tweeted, "I'm bored so I'm doing this... Today's weather is so hot so I can't even go outside..."

As you can see on the photo, her face has not changed at all. Even though she is not wearing a stitch of makeup, she still looks pretty and maintains the clean complexion of a young woman.

Netizens replied, "It's strangely hot these days," "Your skin looks amazing!", "Beautiful as always."

Shin Ae tied the knot at the wedding in May 2009. She revealed that as of now, she is 5 months pregnant.

Actress Shin Ae has announced that she’s become pregnant after being married for two years.


A representative for the actress stated, “Shin Ae found out that she was pregnant in June and is currently 17 weeks along. Rumors have circulated that she is going to have her baby next spring, but she’s actually due in January.”

The representative added, “Shin Ae loves children so she’s really happy about her pregnancy. Her morning sickness was severe earlier during her pregnancy, but she’s much better now.”

Shin Ae had married her husband, Park Jae Gwan (who is 5 years her senior), in 2009 at a private wedding ceremony in Seoul.

Her wedding was held on the 28th, at Sheraton Walkerhill Hotel, Seoul. Relatives and family reception at 1pm, then follows by 6pm reception for her friends, including celebrity friends from her ‘other’ side of the world ^^ Though as to now, I still don’t know who came other than these four people: Lee Young Ja, Kim Ah Joong, Solbi and Alex. Where are the rest of her WGM co-stars? Kim Hyun Joong? Hwangbo? o_O But I definitely know who didn’t come based on pictures from Seol Kyung Gu-Song Yoon Ah’s wedding.

Got married at the Aston House, Walkerhill Hotel, Seoul earlier today, Shinae has released some of the wedding photo studio pictures to the press.

The dress makes her appear so young, especially on the third pictures below. It’s a simple dress, yet very beautiful on her. Shinae said, “Of course it’s beautiful, it’s Kenneth Pool.” Kenneth Pool is a sophisticated design preferred by young brides that can give them the ‘urban’, sophisticated, yet modern image, that mixed well with Shinae’s image.

Shinae expressed, “The wedding dress came in just before I had to go to the Aston House. Despite all the tension I had on my wedding day, I tried to calm myself and not being so nervous.”

Shinae’s wedding attendance consists of her family and relatives, including some of her closest friends and colleagues, including Lee Young Ja (Shinae & Choi Jin Shil’s close friend), Kim Ah Joong, Solbi and Alex.

Veteran actor Joo Young Hun was the host for the wedding, including two famous singers, group Big Mama and K.Will. Shinae plans to go for her honeymoon in Jeju island the following day after the wedding, before she goes to live with her husband in their Bangbae-dong home.

Shin Ae Gets Married Twice in a Day

Although it was supposed to be a private and closed-door affair, the Korean paparazzis still managed to get a full report of Shin Ae's wedding, with some photos of her in her wedding dress, plus her non-celebrity, ahjussi lookalike boyfriend, husband, Park Jae Gwan (lucky bloke!). The biggest story coming out of Shin Ae's wedding was that she had actually gotten married twice in less than a day.

Shin Ae was scheduled to have her wedding ceremony at 6pm but at 1pm, Shin Ae apparently had another extra wedding ceremony which wasn't mentioned before. This additional wedding ceremony was specially catered for their relatives numbering about 200 from both families. The officiator of the wedding was actor Lee Deok Hwa (General Gang Gamchan in Iron Empress) while K.Will, No Brain and Big Mama sang the nuptial songs. Shin Ae was reportedly so touched and wept tears of happiness when K.Will was singing. Lee Deok Hwa and K.Will will also be doing the same thing at the 2nd session which will be graced by the presence from friends of Shin Ae and her groom.

With regards to having 2 wedding ceremonies, Shin Ae's management explained, "We decided to split it into 2 sessions because we realize that the venue (only 200 maximum) was too small to accomodate all the invited guests which exceeded more than 200. The afternoon session was for family and relatives while the evening session was for friends of the married couple. The newly-married couple will head to Jeju Island for their honeymoon and settle down in their new home at Bangbae-dong, Seoul on their return. Shin Ae will continue her entertainment career after her marriage as reported earlier.

Shinae quietly tied the knot at an outdoor wedding this afternoon at the Aston House on the W Hotel property on May 28th. The weather today was absolutely perfect with a nice cool breeze. Wearing head-to-toe white (including the flowers), the 27 year old exchanged vows with a graduate student who is 2 years her senior.

Keeping the wedding low-key, only 250 guests were invited. Actor Lee Duk-hwa officiated and K-Will sang the congratulatory song, as is tradition at Korean weddings. Of course, the wedding dress is probably rented from an exclusive wedding shop in Cheongdamn.

*yay for a name!* lol you dunno how happy I was to see some pictures after yesterday’s “NO PRESS CONFERENCE! NO PUBLIC EVENTS!” announcement. And after looking at these pictures,

he reminds me of what Shinae mentioned before… her ‘ideal man’ is someone like Kim Gura, the announcer/host. A little on the ‘chubbier’ side, ahjussi-style. And oh boy, what a perfect match she has found in him! XD.

Shinae’s wedding held earlier today, May 28 at 1pm in Walkerhill Hotel, Seoul. Her bride, Park Jae Gwan is 2 years older than her, a foreign graduate student from Seattle, Washington.

Only 250 guests attended her private wedding, which some of them are Shinae’s co-stars from KBS2 “Empress Cheonchu”. Also among them, group singers BigMama and the amazing voice, K.Will attended the wedding and performed songs for the happy couple.

The two of them will spend their 2-3 days honeymoon in Jeju island. And as she keeps on saying from the beginning, she’ll resume her entertaiment activites even after the wedding.

Congratulations, Shinae!Hm, no mention of Alex on the guestlist, but I’m pretty sure he came. Oh dear~ *gloomy*

Btw, need to clear something up. Looks like Shinae wanted this to be a closed, private wedding because the whole country is still in mourning period for ex-President Roh Moo Hyun. Therefore, she decided not to have a press conference, nor the photo session for her guestlist. (Shucks for us). Now that I can understand her reason, though it’s still sucks for us, I wish her all the happiness in the world! Park Jae Gwan-ssi, you’re one lucky man, dude!

Shinae wants to have a very quiet and private wedding, NO press conference, NO public events!

Actress Shinae (real name Jo Shinae) will have her quiet and private wedding on May 28 at 6pm in Gwangjangdong, Seoul Walkerhill Hotel. And this special event, she has decided not to have a press conference. This means no photo sessions of her guests either.

Earlier this year, she met with her husband-to-be, and after about 3 months dating, they decided to get married. The wedding will be held within a very special close-friends of hers only, as well as her family. A few weeks ago, on May 14, she posted on her cyworld, “I’m so happy… I love you.”

Shinae also mentioned that as the only daughter, her family is so happy to see her getting married. And she also mentioned that she’s happy to be able to relieve the burden of her parents (by getting married, is considered a filial duty as a daughter).And she also explained how she plans to resume her entertainment activities afterwards.

Wedding bells for Shin-ae

Shin-ae, who recently announced her plans to get married to the lucky man studying in Seattle, has finally set the date. Wedding bells will be ringing for Shin-ae on May 28th at the ‘Sheraton Grande Walker Hill Hotel’ in Seoul.

After her appearance on the show ‘We Got Married’, things seem to be working out better for her. In a recent interview she stated, “My father and mother are very happy about their only daughter’s marriage and I feel proud that I’ve been able to lighten their burden. My parents, who have been opposing my career as an actress, have finally officially granted me permission to pursue my career, so I feel that I will be an even happier bride. I will soon show my gratitude for my fans and viewers through a great drama/movie and acting”. Thanks to Alex, she’s already gotten more than enough practice in the married life. And practice makes perfect, right?

Shinae’s wedding date finally announced

I don’t know what else to say but wishing her all the happiness with her soon-to-be partner for life. Hopefully we’ll be able to at least see a bit of her wedding pictures though it seems that she intended to have a private wedding. Very Shinae’ish, very conservative indeed, but then again, I can imagine Shinae’s dad objecting to the idea of having a ‘public’ wedding. Would love to know if Alex will be attending or not, but I guess he has no choice to attend huh? (well unless he’s out of the country :P for example, in LA. Can’t attend. Sorry. Kbye. LOL)

Actress Shinae (27, real name Jo Shinae) finally announced her wedding date. Her private wedding will be on Thursday (weird day to get married) May 28, at Walkerhill Seoul, Aston House - GwangJangdong, Seoul.

According to her agency, “Since Shinae is an only child, her father is very pleased that she’s getting married.” and “Shinae will resume her activities as an actress after she got married, which makes her very happy.” Shinae said, “Thanks to all the fans for all the support, I’ll return to work soon.”

Her groom-to-be is a Korean student, currently studying in Seattle. He’s 2 years older than her, and they’ve started dating early this year. (I’m curious if he’s Korean-American or not, but so far, there’s no news about this.)

Shinae’s agency said, “Shinae’s boyfriend is very well aware about Shinae’s family. Their serious relationship has been arranged since the beginning of the year.”

Meanwhile, today April 25 at Jamsil Baseball Stadium, Shinae’s plan to attend the baseball game (Doosan and Hanwha) has been suspended due to rain. (Ah, shucks. No wonder there’s no picture about this lol)
